The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on November 07, 2023, issued the Master Direction on Information Technology Governance, Risk, Controls and Assurance Practices.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Master Direction updates and consolidates the instructions relating to Information Technology (IT) Governance and Controls, Business Continuity Management, and Information Systems Audit.
• The following has been covered under the Master Direction: -
1. IT Governance
2. IT Infrastructure and Service Management
3. IT and Information Security Risk Management
4. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Management
5. Information Systems (IS) Audit.
