The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW) on November 08, 2023, issued the date on which the provisions related to the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 under the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023, shall come into force.
It has appointed November 08, 2023, as the date on which the provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023, which relates to serial number 35 and in the Schedule of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023, relating to the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (34 of 2006), shall come into force.
