Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on November 15, 2023, amended an older notification No. 04/2022-Central Excise, dated June 30, 2022, related to effective rates of Special Additional Excise Duty on petrol and diesel.

The following has been stated: -

•In the said notification, in the Table, against S. No. 2, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs.1 per litre” shall be substituted.

This notification shall come into force on November 16, 2023.
