The Government of Jharkhand on November 09, 2023, issued the notification regarding the list of Holidays for festivals/occasions.
The following has been stated namely: -
• All offices and revenue offices under the Jharkhand Government will remain closed under the executive order on the dates mentioned in the attached Schedule-2.
• The bank’s annual accounting holiday in the entire state in the year 2024 is mentioned in the attached B-3
• The annual closure of bank accounts will not be applicable to government establishments/offices
• The dates of holidays scheduled for Muslim festivals may be changed depending on the visibility of the moon.
• The five-day working week system in the secretariat and attached offices under the state government and the six-day working week system in the regional offices will remain in force.
