The Government of Delhi on November 10, 2023, issued a direction licensing/ registering officers for ease of doing business
This is in supersession of notification no. JLC (HQ)/CLA/2014/01/5454 dated March 07, 2014, wherein the contractors deploying contract workers were directed to upload details of the workers employed on their website
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the above-stated direction shall not be mandatory.
• It further states that all the licensing/ registering officers shall examine and process the registration and license application shall strictly adhere to the provisions of the CL (R&A) Act 1970.
