Industry Specific Compliance The Cabinet Secretariat on November 24, 2023, issued the Government of India (Allocation of Business) (Three Hundred and Seventy-fourth Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961.

The following amendment has been stated:

In THE SECOND SCHEDULE, under the heading “MINISTRY OF HEAVY INDUSTRIES (BHARI UDYOG MANTRALAYA)”, after entry 44, the following entry shall be inserted, namely: -

“45. Coordination for manufacture, sale and adoption of electric vehicles.”

These rules will come into force at once.
