The Government of Haryana on November 23, 2023, issued a notification regarding the price of sugarcane in Haryana.
The following has been stated: -
•In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 14 of the Punjab Sugarcane (Regulation of Purchase and Supply) Act, 1953, the Governor of Haryana is hereby regulating the price of sugarcane supplied/to be supplied to the Sugar Mills in Haryana to be paid by the Sugar Mills to the cane suppliers in their assigned areas at the rate of Rs. 386/- and 379/- per quintal during the crushing season 2023-24 and Rs. 400/- and Rs. 393/- per quintal during the crushing season 2024-25 for early and other varieties of sugarcane respectively.
