The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on November 22, 2023, issued a draft amendment to an older notification related to Environment Impact Assessment (EIA).
The following amendments have been stated:
• In the Schedule, which states “List of Projects or Activities Requiring Prior Environmental Clearance” after item 2(b), the following item 2(c) has been inserted as specified in the table.
• In item 3, which states “Materials Production” and entries relating to it, the following item 3(a) and entries have been substituted as specified in the table.
Objections or suggestions in respect to the draft if any, shall be considered within a period of 60 days from November 22, 2023.
Objections and suggestions shall be addressed in writing to the Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Indira Paryavaran Bhawan, Jor Bagh Road, Aliganj, New Delhi-110 003, or sent to the e-mail address at [email protected] and [email protected].
