Industry Specific Compliance The Department of Food & Public Distribution (DFPD) on November 28, 2023, issued a notification regarding the imposition of a sugar mill-wise stock holding limit order for the month of December 2023.

The following has been stated:

• The opening stock as of December 01, 2023, Plus (+) Production up to December 2023, minus (-) Domestic dispatch on or before December 31, 2023, not exceeding the quantity as mentioned in the table against respective sugar mills.
