The Government of Madhya Pradesh on November 24, 2023, issued a notification regarding amendments in the Madhya Pradesh Heritage Liquor Rules, 2023.
The following has been stated: -
•In rule 2 After clause (xi), the following clauses shall be inserted, namely: -
(xi-a) "Manufacturer's Price" means the price approved by the Excise Commissioner at which bottled heritage liquor is sold by the heritage liquor manufacturer.
(xi-b) “Maximum Retail Price”
(xi-c) “Minimum Selling Price”
•After Rule 6, the following rule shall be added, namely: - 6A which talks about the permissible wastages.
