The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) on November 24, 2023, issued the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Tenth Amendment Order, 2023, to further amend the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In Schedule I, PART-A, which states “Specifications of Fertilisers”
(a) In Sub-heading 1(g), which states “Micronutrients”, after serial number 25 and entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries have been inserted, namely:
i. “26 Chelated Calcium as Ca-EDTA”
ii. “27 Chelated Magnesium as Mg-EDTA”
iii. “28 Chelated Manganese as Mn-EDTA”
iv. “29 Chelated Copper as Cu-EDTA”
(b) In sub-heading 1(h), which states “Fortified Fertilisers", after serial number 34 and entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries have been inserted, namely:
i. “35 Single Super Phosphate fortified with Zinc, Iron and Boron”
This notification will come into force from November 24, 2023.
