The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) on November 28, 2023, issued the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (Recognition of Qualifications) Regulations, 2023.
The following provisions have been stated:
• Recognition of medical qualifications awarded by the institutions or universities established in India:
a) Procedure for recognition of Medical Qualification.
b) Appeal
c) Inclusion of medical qualification
• Recognition of medical qualifications awarded by the institutions or universities established outside India:
a) Procedure of recognition of medical qualifications outside India
b) Scrutiny of Application
c) Appeal
d) Inclusion of medical qualification
This notification will come into force from November 28, 2023.
