The Government of Tamil Nadu on November 23, 2023, issued an amendment to the Tamil Nadu Electricity (Reorganisation and Reforms) Transfer Scheme, 2010.
The following amendment has been stated:
In the said Scheme, in clause 9, in sub-clause (1), for the expression “All transfer of personnel from the Board to TANGEDCO under clause 6 shall be provisional for a period of seven years and six months from the date of transfer”, the expression “All transfer of personnel from the Board to TANGEDCO under clause 6 shall be provisional for a period of thirteen years and six months from the date of transfer”, shall be substituted.
The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force from May 01, 2018
