The Government of Tripura on November 06, 2023, issued the list of holidays for the year 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Industrial Establishments of the Government of Tripura under the purview of the Factories Act, 1948 shall remain closed on the days listed in the notification for the calendar year 2024.
• The following festivals fall on the weekend: -
1. Biju Festival: April 13, 2024 (2nd Saturday)
2. Bengali New Year's Day: April 14, 2024 (Sunday)
3. Kharchi Puja: July 14, 2024 (Sunday)
4. Maha Nabami: October 12, 2024 (2nd Saturday)
5. Vijaya Dashami: October 13, 2024 (Sunday)
