The Government of Himachal Pradesh on November 20, 2023, issued a notification regarding the amendment to the Rules regulating the payment of Grant-in-Aid to the HP Zoos and Conservation Breeding Society, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
This shall come into force on November 20, 2023
The following has been amended namely: -
• Rule 4 which states the Purpose of Grant in Aid has been amended as follows namely: -
“The purpose of Grant in aid is for the furtherance of the objectives of the Society under the various activities of HP Zoos & Conservation Breeding Society, Shimla Himachal Pradesh.
The assistance in the shape of grant-in-aid would be meant for expenditure on setting up and development of Zoos, operational works such as animal feeding, maintenance of zoos/ breeding centers, Pheasantries, expenditure on monkey sterilization, equipment, buildings, office contingency, wages of contractual/ daily wages staff, POL of Society vehicles, etc and for any other activities of "HP Zoos & Conservation Breeding Society, Shimla Himachal Pradesh" through its Executing Agencies subject to availability of funds and for such other purposes as may be decided by the Govt. from time to time.”
