Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on November 30, 2023, amended an older notification No. 18/2022-Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022, related to Excise Duty on production of Petroleum Crude.

The following has been stated: -

•In the notification, in the Table, against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry "Rs. 5000 per tonne" shall be substituted.

This notification shall come into force with effect from December 01, 2023.
