The Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission (JSERC) on November 29, 2023, issued the JSERC (Rooftop Solar PV Grid Interactive System and Net/Gross Metering) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2023, to further amend the JSERC (Rooftop Solar PV Grid Interactive System and Net/ Gross Metering) Regulation, 2015.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In chapter A5, which states “Capacity of Rooftop Pv System” in clause 5.1 a new proviso has been inserted as below:
5.1 The maximum peak capacity of the grid-connected rooftop solar PV system to be installed by any eligible consumer shall not exceed 100% of the sanctioned connected load/contract demand of the consumer.
Provided that in the case of Domestic Consumer, such installed capacity of Grid connected rooftop solar PV system shall be irrespective of consumer's sanctioned load/contract demand.
This notification will come into force from November 29, 2023.
