The Directorate of Food & Drugs Administration Government of Goa on November 30, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Analysis of Food articles (Enforcement and Surveillance Samples).
Food Testing is an integral part of Food Safety Surveillance and Enforcement, every state through its Food Safety Officers engaged in drawing Food Samples, which are analyzed as per the FSS Regulations in force.
In addition to the testing facilities available at the State Food testing lab the Directorate in coordination with FSSAI would like to utilize the services of Privately approved NABL-accredited labs for testing food articles.
In this connection MoU has been signed with FSSAI for carrying out such testing as per the policies and rates finalized by FSSAI The Directorate desires to impanel 2-3 labs for sending regular samples during the MoU period as per the final work plans.
The laboratories who wish to offer their services as per the terms and conditions in Annexure 1 may submit their Expression of Interest to the undersigned on or before December 08, 2023.
