The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh on November 29, 2023, issued a notification regarding the list of holidays for the Calendar Year 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•The holidays listed in Annexure “A” & “B” to this Order shall be observed in the Government offices and Educational Institutions of the Union territory of Ladakh, during the calendar year 2024.
•In addition to the list of public holidays at Annexure “A” each employee will be allowed to avail of any two holidays to be chosen by him/her out of the list of restricted holidays at Annexure “C”.
•In respect of Banks, the holidays shall be regulated in terms of the extant instructions issued under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 at Annexure “D”. By order of UT Administration of Ladakh.
