The Government of Himachal Pradesh on November 02, 2023, issued the List of Holidays for the year 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
•Annexure-1, will be observed as a "Gazetted Holiday" during the Calendar Year 2024, in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
•All Government employees will be authorized to avail of two 'Restricted Holidays out of those mentioned in Annexure-III.
•Holidays listed in Annexure-II are declared Gazetted Holidays' for women employees working in all Government Offices/ Boards/ Corporations/ Educational Institutions in H.P, These will also be holidays for women employees within the meaning of Section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and also to daily wage women employees
