The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on November 22, 2023, issued the notification regarding the National Human Rights Commission reference regarding the Advisory for Protection of the Rights of Children against Production, Distribution and Consumption of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Advisory for Protection of the Rights of Children against Production, Distribution, and Consumption of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) has been issued to the Union/State Government(s) and UT Administrations(s) to protect the human rights of children in the digital environment.
• All Technical Universities and Institutions are advised to conduct activities for Sensitization, Awareness, Capacity Building, and Victim Support per the Advisory for Protection of the Rights of Children against Production, Distribution, and Consumption of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
