The Government of Haryana on December 04, 2023, notified Haryana Road Safety Fund (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend Haryana Road Safety Fund Rules, 2018.
The following has been stated-
•In the Haryana Road Safety Fund Rule, 2018, in rule 8, for sub-rules 2 and 3, the following sub-rules shall be substituted, namely:-
“(2) The Administrative Secretary, Transport Department shall be authorized to sanction expenditure on any of the purposes (recurring and non-recurring) mentioned in the rules subject to a maximum of fifty lakh rupees in each case.
(3) The Member Secretary shall be authorized to sanction expenditure on any of the purposes (recurring and non-recurring) mentioned in the rules subject to a maximum of ten lakh rupees in each case.”
