The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MCA) on December 06, 2023, issued the Ministry of Civil Aviation (Height Restrictions for Safeguarding of Aircraft Operations) Second Amendment Rules, 2023 to further amend the Ministry of Civil Aviation (Height Restrictions for Safeguarding of Aircraft Operations) Rules, 2015.
The following has been amended namely: -
• Rule 9A which states “Validity of No Objection certificate” the following proviso shall be substituted, namely: -
“Provided that where No Objection Certificate has been issued under vide number S.O.84(E), dated the 14th January, 2010 upon an application made to the Airports Authority of India or the relevant Defence Authorities, within a period of ninety days from date of publication of this amendment notification, the period of validity for such No Objection Certificate shall be extended for a period not exceeding twelve years.”
This shall come into force on December 06, 2023
