The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers (MoCF) on December 08, 2023, issued the Textiles — High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Polypropylene (PP) Woven Sacks for Packaging of 25 kg Polymer Materials (Quality Control) Order, 2023.
The following has been stated:
• It shall apply to goods or articles specified in column (1) of the Schedule annexed in this order and shall not apply to goods or articles meant for export.
• The Goods or articles specified in column (1) of the said Schedule shall bear the Standard Mark under a licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards in accordance with Scheme-I of Schedule-II to the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
• The Bureau of Indian Standards shall be the certifying and enforcing authority in respect of the goods or article specified in column (1) of the said Schedule.

It shall come into force on the expiry of 180 days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, i.e., December 07, 2023.
