The University Grants Commission (UGC) on December 05, 2023, issued an Advisory for the Protection of the Rights of Children against the Production, Distribution, and Consumption of Child Sexual Abuse Material.
The following has been stated:
• It has Requested the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to disseminate the information and implement the recommendations suggested in the Advisory. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are also requested to upload the action taken in this regard on the University Activity Monitoring Portal (UAMP) at https://uamp.ugc.ac.in/.
