The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) on December 06, 2023, issued the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (Procedure for Engagement of Experts and Professionals) Regulations, 2023.
The following provisions have been stated:
• Function of experts and professionals:
The experts and professionals engaged by the Commission shall discharge such functions as mentioned in the letter of engagement issued by the Secretary of the Commission or such other functions as may be assigned by the Commission from time to time, as may be required.
• Qualifications and experience of experts and professionals:
(1) The experts and professionals shall be engaged based on their qualifications and experience in their respective fields of specialization and the eminence in their profession as specified in the schedule annexed to these regulations.
• Evaluation of performance:
The performance of each of the experts and professionals engaged under these regulations shall be reviewed from time to time at such intervals as may be determined by the Commission.
This notification will come into force from December 06, 2023.
