The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on December 07, 2023, issued a notification to supersede notification no. 84/2023-Customs(N.T.) dated November 16, 2023 which states “Rate of exchange of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Schedule-I states the rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees for the following countries: -
1. Australian Dollar
2. Bahraini Dinar
3. Kuwaiti Dinar
4. Swiss Franc
5. Turkish Lira
• Schedule-II states the rate of exchange of 100 units of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees for the following countries: -
1. Japanese Yen
2. Korean Won
