The following IS have been established on November 21, 2023: -
• IS 384 (Part 1) : 2023 Flat Brushes for Paints and Varnishes — Specification Part 1 Heavy Duty (Seventh Revision)
• IS 5476 : 2023 Jute — Glossary of Terms (Second Revision)
• IS 6482 : 2023 Tampers and Rammers for Use in Foundries — Specification (First Revision)
• IS 8929 : 2023 High Purity Gold Wire for Electrical Contacts — Specification (First Revision)
• IS 9007 : 2023 Zircon Sand for Use in Foundries — Specification (First Revision)
The following IS will be withdrawn on February 21, 2024: -
• IS 384 (Part 1) : 2012 Brushes, Paints and Varnishes, Flat — Specification Part 1 Heavy Duty (Sixth Revision)
• IS 2384 : 1963 Specification for Tin Anodes for Electroplating
• IS 5841 : 1970 Specification for Fluted Core Cleaners for Use in Foundries
• IS 9007 : 1978 Specification for Zircon Sand for Use in Foundries
