The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) on December 05, 2023, issued an advisory related to Permittees/manufacturers of self-ballasted Light Emitting Diode (LED); lamp to continue their production without a QR code under the Standards and Labeling (S&L) program of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).
The following has been stated:
• This is to inform that all permittees/manufacturers of self-ballasted Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamps registered under the Standards and Labeling (S&L) program of BEE to produce LED lamps without a QR code until further information.
