The Government of Maharashtra on December 12, 2023, notified regarding the amendments in Integrated and Sustainable Textile Policy 2023-28.
The proposal to amend the said policy was presented in the Cabinet meeting on November 08, 2023. In accordance with the decision taken on the said subject in the said meeting, the proposal to amend the Integrated and Sustainable Textile Industry Policy 2023-28 is under consideration by the Government.
The following amendments have been stated:
The Integrated and Sustainable Textile Industry Policy of the State 2023-28 is hereby approved as follows: -
1. Nandurbar district is being included in Zone 2 along with Dhule and Jalgaon districts from Zone 3.
2. Integrated and Sustainable Textile Industry Policy 2023-28 in paragraph no.6 of Government Decision A. No. 12 being incorporated as under: -
“Mega (huge) textile projects (new or expanding) by Industries Department Permissible incentives will be given under the collective incentive scheme to be implemented."
