Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on December 11, 2023, issued the notification regarding the Trading Supported by Blocked Amount in Secondary Market- Revised file format – UCC.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The UAT environment is being made available to the Trading Members for testing the revised file format. Further, an Application Programming Interface (API) based platform for UCC upload on the Exchange is also being provided. 

• The login credentials for accessing this TEST environment for existing users will remain same as they are using now. 

• Members using the TEST environment for first time will be receiving login credentials via email marked to their compliance officer. 

• The Trading Supported by Blocked Amount in Secondary Market is applicable only for Individual, Portfolio Management Services (PMSI), High Networth Individuals (HNI) and HUF Client Categories.

• The UCC data in the revised file format in live environment shall be accepted only from December 26, 2023. Hence, UCC data in the old file format shall be rejected with effect from December 26, 2023.
