The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) on December 05, 2023, issued amendments to International Convention on Road Lines 1966 and its applicability.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the IMO has issued various amendments to the Convention from time to time, and the same has been attached to this Order as Annexure- 1.
• It further states that the amendments to the Convention are already in effect and applicable to Indian vessels.
• The stakeholders are required to be guided by this Order towards compliance with the provisions to give full effect to the International Convention on Load Lines.
