The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) on December 11, 2023, issued the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and the UT of Ladakh (Demand Side Management) Regulations, 2023.
The following Chapters have been stated:
• Chapter I specifies the General and Definitions.
• Chapter II specifies the DSM Objectives, Principles, Targets, and guidelines.
• Chapter III specifies the DSM Cell.
• Chapter IV specifies the DSM Plan and Programme Implementation Process.
• Chapter V specifies the DSM Plan and Programme Completion Report.
• Chapter VI specifies the Incentives.
• Chapter VII specifies the Miscellaneous.
These regulations will come into force from December 11, 2023.
