Industry Specific Compliance The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) on December 05, 2023, issued the Amendments to the International Convention on Tonnage Measurement of Ships, 1969 and its applicability.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The amendment has been issued to the Convention, incorporating the provisions relating to IMO lnstruments lmplementation (lll) Code towards verification of compliance with the provisions of the Tonnage Convention.

• The same is applicable for compliance from its effective date.
