Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Power (MoP) on December 13, 2023, issued a notification regarding seeking comments on draft Electricity (Late Payment Surcharge and Related Matters) Amendment Rules, 2023.

The following has been stated-

•for Rule 7, the Regulation of access to defaulting entities rule shall be substituted.

•In Rule 9 of the said Rules (a) For sub-rule (1) the Power not requisitioned by a distribution licensee shall be substituted.
