The Government of Goa on December 14, 2023, issued the Goa (Regulation of Film Shooting) Rules, 2023.
The following provisions have been stated:
• Application form:
Every application under sub-section (3) of section 3, which states ‘’ Regulation of film shooting” shall be made in Form-I hereto and duly signed by the producer or his authorized representative or the line producer.
• Manner for compensating concerned authorities:
Where any authority is deprived of fees on account of the issue of permission for the film shooting under these Rules, the competent authority shall deposit the amount of fees collected other than the processing fee to the account of the concerned authority before the last day of the month on which the film shooting permission is given.
This notification will come into force from December 14, 2023.
