The Government of Rajasthan on December 15, 2023, issued the Draft Rajasthan Industrial Disputes (Amendment) Rules, 2023, to further amend the Rajasthan Industrial Disputes Rules, 1958.
The following provisions have been stated:
• Insertion of new rule 5A:
"5A. Employees of the Labour Court and the Industrial Tribunal
(1) Administrative and Budget control over the employees of the Labour Court and the Industrial Tribunal shall vest in the High Court.
(2) The District Judge of the District/Metropolitan concerned shall be the Appointing Authority of the employees of the Labour Court and Industrial Tribunal and such employees shall be appointed as per the provisions of the Rajasthan District Courts Ministerial Establishment Rules, 1986 or the Rajasthan Subordinate Courts (Driver and Class IV employees) Service Rules, 2017.
(3) The salary, allowances and other terms and conditions of service of the employees of the Labour Court and Industrial Tribunal shall be governed by the rules and orders made by the State Government, from time to time, on this behalf and as apply to the employees of the district courts.
This notification will come into force from December 15, 2023.
