The Government of Telangana on December 12, 2023, issued the list of General Holidays for 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• All offices under State Government shall remain closed on all Sundays and Second Saturdays in all the months during the year 2024 except the Second Saturday (February 10, 2024) in the month of February, 2024 which will be a working day in lieu of public holiday declared on January 01, 2024.
• The State Government employees may avail themselves of Optional Holidays not exceeding FIVE during the year 2024 on the festivals/occasions specified in Annexure-II
• If there is any change of date in respect of Idu’l Fitar, Idu’l Azha, Muharram and Id-e-Milad as per the moon sight or any other holiday declared now, it shall be announced through electronic/print media. All the Departments of Secretariat
