The Ministry of Mines on December 12, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Scheme for the engagement of Notified Private Exploration Agencies in Mineral Exploration of Critical and Strategic Minerals
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the objective of the Scheme is to boost the exploration activities in the country by engaging NPEA in mineral exploration of critical and strategic minerals as listed under the MMDR Act, 1957 by the Central Government and to ease out the process of reimbursement/ funding of the operations by NPEA through NMET
• It states that the scheme is applicable for exploration of minerals and has been attached as (Annexure 1) and (Annexure 2)
