The Government of Haryana on December 14, 2023, notified the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2023 further to amend the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006.
The following has been stated: -
•In the Schedule to the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006, after serial number 25 and entries there against, the following serial number and entries there against shall be added, namely: - “26. Sanskaram University District Jhajjar”
• The Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006 has been brought essentially to rope in the private sector to supplement the initiative of the Government in expanding the capacity in higher education and up-scaling its standards.
