The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) on December 18, 2023, issued a notification to amend Notification No. 18/2022-Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022, related to the Special Additional Excise Duty on the production of Petroleum Crude and the export of Aviation Turbine Fuel.
The following amendment has been stated:
In the Table, -
• against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 1300 per tonne” shall be substituted.
• against S. No. 2, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 1 per litre” shall be substituted.
This notification shall come into force on December 19, 2023.
