The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCAFPD) on December 18, 2023, issued amendment to notification no. S.O.371(E) dated February 08, 2017, which states ‘aadhaar as an identity document to avail benefit’.
The following has been amended namely: -
• In paragraph 1, in sub-paragraph (2), for the words, figures and letters “by 31st December, 2023”, the words, figures and letters “by 31st March, 2024” shall be substituted.
• In paragraph 2, in sub-paragraph (1), for the words, figures and letters “by 31st December, 2023”, the words, figures and letters “by 31 March 2024” shall be substituted.
