Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on December 19, 2023, notified the Rubber Gaskets for Pressure Cooker (Quality Control) Order, 2023.

The following has been stated: -

•Rule 2 talks about the Compulsory use of Standard Marks.

•Rule 3 talks about the Certification and Enforcement Authority which is the Bureau of Indian Standards.

•Rule 4 talks about the Penalty for Contravention.

It shall come into force on the expiry of six months from December 19, 2023.
