The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) on December 20, 2023, issued the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (Fifteenth Amendment) Order, 2023, to further amend the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003.
The following amendment has been stated:
• In Schedule XI, which states “List of Inspection Authorities for Certification of Post entry quarantine facilities and inspection of growing plants”, under Part –II, the following entries would be added after the existing entries as specified in the table.
This notification will come into force from December 20, 2023.
