The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on December 21, 2023, issued an amendment to notification no. 90/2023-Customs(N.T.) dated December 07, 2023, which states the “Rate of exchange of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees”
The following has been stated namely: -
• Schedule I states the rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees for the following countries: -
1. Australian Dollar
2. Bahraini Dinar
3. Kuwaiti Dinar
4. Swiss Franc
5. Turkish Lira
• Schedule-II states the rate of exchange of 100 units of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees for the following countries: -
1. Japanese Yen
2. Korean Won
