The Competition Commission of India (CCI) on December 22, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Amendment in the CCI (General) Regulations 2009: Regarding numbering of Interlocutory Applications and fee thereof.
The following has been stated: -
•In order to monitor and tracking of Interlocutory Application (IA) for speedy disposal of cases, every such Application is required to be registered in running number (No.----/year) and to be accompanied by a certain fee. Therefore, Amendments as per Annexure I, are required in CCI (General) Regulation 2009.
•The CCI invites stakeholders to submit written comments on the draft Amendment in CCI (General) Regulation 2009 within 21 (twenty-one) days from December 12, 2023, to January 01, 2024.
