The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on December 22, 2023, issued amendments to certain Indian Standards.
The amendment of the following Indian Standards was established on December 13, 2023: -
• IS 277 : 2018 Galvanized Steel Strips and Sheets (Plain and Corrugated) — Specification (Seventh Revision) - Amendment No. 1 December 2023
• IS 798 : 2020 Orthophosphoric Acid — Specification (Third Revision) - Amendment No. 1 December 2023
• IS 4224 : 1972 Specification for Steel Wire for Staples, Pins and Clips (First Revision) - Amendment No. 2 December 2023
• IS 16090 : 2013 Geo-synthetics — Geo-textiles Used as Protection (Or Cushioning) Materials — Specification - Amendment No. 1 December 2023
• IS 17262 : 2022 Textiles — Polyester Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) — Specification (First Revision) - Amendment No. 4 December 2023
The standards shall remain in force without the amendment till June 12, 2024, and March 12, 2024, respectively.
