Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) on December 29, 2023, issued a circular regarding Quantity Freeze Limits for Indices.

The following has been stated: -

•This is in accordance with circular no. NSE/FAOP/57264 dated June 23, 2023, on Quantity freeze limits on Indices. As per the computation methodology mentioned in the circular, the quantity freeze limits for derivatives contracts on indices shall be applicable as under w.e.f. January 01, 2024

•Members are advised to load the updated contract.gz file in the trading application before trading on the effective date. This file can be obtained from the directory faoftp/faocommon on the Extranet server.
