Labour Compliance The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on December 28, 2023, issued a notification regarding the enforcement of the provisions related to Medical Benefits under the Employee State Insurance Act, 1948 in the Kandhamal district of Odisha.

The following has been stated namely:

• It has appointed December 01, 2023, as the date on which provision 95-A which deals with medical benefits under the Employee State Insurance Act, 1948 shall be extended to all the families of the insured in the Kandhamal district of Odisha shall come into force.
