The India International Bullion Exchange (IFSC) Limited (IIBX) on January 02, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Submission of Half Yearly Net Worth Certificate as of September 30, 2023, for FY 2023-2024 by Qualified Jewellers
Qualified Jewellers are required to submit their half-yearly net worth certificate as of September 30, 2023, for FY 2023-2024, as per the format attached to the document prescribed herewith by January 31, 2024. The said net worth certificate must be issued by a practising chartered accountant, a practising cost accountant, or a practising company secretary.
The duly certified scanned copies of their Net Worth certificate need to be submitted to IIBX email ID and the original hard copy of the same be sent via mail/courier to the registered address of IIBX.
The minimum net worth specified shall be maintained by the entity at all times and reviewed by IIBX on a half-yearly basis. In case of net worth falling below the minimum requirements, IIBX shall suspend the participation of the entity from transacting on IIBX till the net worth is restored to the minimum required level. The notification of the entity as a Qualified Jeweller may also be revoked by the IFSCA based on the recommendation by IIBX.
